Atlus
Our story
Atlus began as a question: what does a quiet Pakistani wardrobe look like? Not the loud festive pieces that show up once a year, but the kurta you reach for on a Tuesday.
How it’s made
The atelier
We work with a small atelier in Karachi. Embroidery is done by hand, blocks are carved on wood, and runs are kept short — usually under fifty pieces per design. Cotton lawn is sourced locally; chiffon and trims are too where possible.
What we don’t do
No flash sales, no noise
We don't do flash sales, infinite collections, or hard-sell language. The pieces speak; we just point at them.
What we hold to
-
Hand-finished
Embroidery, mirror-work and chikankari finished by hand — not machine-stamped.
-
Short runs
Most designs are made in runs under fifty pieces. When a piece is gone, it’s gone.
-
Local cloth
Cotton lawn sourced locally; chiffon and trims too, wherever we can.
The edit
What we make
Three-piece suits, two-piece co-ord sets, and stand-alone kurtas. Cotton lawn is our anchor; chiffon, organza and the occasional broderie anglaise pass through depending on the design.
